Executive Producer of TV and FILM / Channel Executive

A native of California, action sports junkie, raised in the birth place of action sport (Laguna Beach, CA – Orange County) Lloyd Bryan Adams, born Lloyd Bryan Molander had a dedicated commitment to action sports and the lifestyle from day one. Lloyd’s commitment can be summed up by this one simple account of his mother, she stated: “I remember having to chastise Lloyd after reading my water bill only to learn that Lloyd emptied our pool of 23,000 Gallons of water, why I asked, because he said he was bored and wanted to skate with his friends. {As a teenager} his passion for Surf, Skate, Snow and Dirt Jumping left him brushed, broken and battered. His Mother accounts, “He would come in the house after a day of skateboarding and just leave trails of blood – with a smile on his face he would head to the medicine cabinet for some Bactine and band aids, patch himself up and shoot another hill or skate a pool; there are lot of hills and pools in Laguna; I think he has tried every hill”. Lloyd’s father Glenn Molander and youngest brother Leif lived in Hawaii, another playground for his action sports imagination, giant surf, cliff jumping, etc it was all fair game. Now in his 40’s Lloyd still has the heart, imagination and enthusiasm of the bruised and battered 14 year old starring wide eyed at the top of a steep Laguna hill, but the focus is now centered on balancing work and play. “ You have to do what you love and I have been extremely fortunate and blessed to have been able to parlay my academic and real life experiences into my ventures; I am passionate and tenacious about life states Lloyd; “let the timid say home” is his mantra.

Lloyd holds Juris Doctor from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and has earned a Masters Degree in Business Management from N.U. and a B.S. from San Diego State University. Lloyd studies abroad included the, Inns of Court School of Law London, England as Summer Barrister Pupilage and Salzburg University, Austro-American Institute of Education, Salzburg, Austria
Lloyd has over 20 years of experience as a television executive, adventure / lifestyle Producer and V.P. of Business and Legal Affairs.  His is CEO and Executive Producer of Tenacity Entertainment LLC (www.tenacityent.com). Recently, Lloyd was the head of programming and production and Executive producer for Outdoor Channel (he currently is a Sr. Consultant for the channel and is Sr. Producer of 13 of the channels signature shows including Scouting for Adventure and Savage Wild) In 2006, Lloyd was appointed as an executive for Havoc Television, a multiplatform entertainment company with wide VOD distribution, a block on DirecTV, and an industry-leading website dedicated to action sports and indie music.  Lloyd’s responsibilities included programming the channel and executive producing all original content.  He was charged with building the production, acquisition and business development departments and assisted as EP with the launch of “Havoc on the 101,” a joint venture with DirecTV. Lloyd is an active producer and his shows have run on all major networks, as well as cable shows airing on Fox Sports, Rush HD, Fuel, Fuse, ESPN and OLN / VS.

Lloyd was the former Chief Operating Officer for Extreme Group, USA, and is credited as a Co-Founder of the Extreme Sports Channel; the channel is now in over 55 Countries. His efforts also led to the creation of Fox’s Fuel Channel, whereby Lloyd was on the launch team from day one and later hired as a Sr. Consultant / Executive Producer. Lloyd was responsible for bringing the channel over 200 hours of content at launch, and produced original series and numerous specials for the channel.

Additional experience includes: former Vice President of Programming and Production and Executive Producer of all original content for Ripe Digital, LLC; Lloyd assisted in bringing the channel to launch and assisted with the Due Diligence, content creation and acquisitions that took the channel from a valuation of under $3 million to a $32 Million Series B Investment by Hearst-Argyle, Time Warner, Columbia Capital, and Rho Ventures (current valuation is estimated at $60 million); Exec VP for NightShift Entertainment, Inc.; Partner, The Pinnacle Group / Sports Marketing & Agency; Vice President of Aqua Media; Vice President of Marketing and V.P. of Business Affairs, Bennett Productions Inc.; President of Planet X Studios; and President of Action Sports Network.

Lloyd is a member of the Producers Guild of America, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, American Film Institute, and was on the Board of the Tahoe/Reno International Film Festival and head of the Adventure Film Categories.  Lloyd has is an award-winning producer and Telly Award winner. Lloyd’s films have been accepted in a number of film festivals including the prestigious Hollywood Film Festival.

Lloyd’s past experience also includes: Owner of the San Diego franchise of College and Student Tours (the US largest student tour travel operator) whereby he gained an excellent insight into direct marketing to high school and university students. While in law school Lloyd worked for the US Senate, California State Assembly, State Senate and the California Governor’s Office of Trade and Commerce. Further, Lloyd has worked abroad as an associate for the international law and accounting firm of Rodl and Partner, Nurnberg, Germany, whereby he assisted with international mergers and acquisitions.

Lloyd has one daughter Lauren Brooke Adams, two siblings Andy Adams an accomplished sound mixer and youngest brother Leif Molander who proudly served the United States as a member of the USAF in Iraq, the US and Europe, Leif currently attends University in NM.
